Julie’s art was exceptionally edectic. A dedicated environmentalist/recyderist, much of her art was made from recycled materials. She would search thrift stores for paintings with the right background to recast with collage materials and create a new interpretation of the original image. She saved shoe boxes and turned them into newly discovered art piece. Also decorated match boxes to hang on our Christmas tree and bought second hand furniture she tiled and hand painted. This is just a sample of the many ways she reinterpreted what she found around her and give it a new life.
